Lakeside is only half a mile from Oxford downtown and next door to an open green garden with kids' play region and open-air swimming pool, ideal for slow summer months activities. At Lakeside we are proud of ourselves on offering clients a home from home experience in up-to-date vicinity. We provide a variety of lodging including single, double, twin and family bedrooms. All rates are inclusive of full English breakfast, car park and VAT. Lakeside is only a 10 min stroll or short bus ride away from the centre of Oxford and it is historical University Colleges. Clients are advised to stay the recently renewed Oxford Castle, the Ashmoleon or one of our independent museums, or take the town sightseeing tour from an open-top bus. Alternatively enjoy a walk through Christ Church Meadows to the Botanical Gardens or go punting along the River Cherwell. Oxford features over 630 listed buildings and sights including cosmopoliton boutiques, well-known restaurants and conventional pubs to be embraced by all. Our nice bedrooms have all been newly renowated to an incredible standard. We use local make and home-made jams, which are also obtainable to purchase.
