Situated only 300 mtrs from the Leeds-Liverpool canal which offers course fishing and marvellous strolls in both directions. Captivating state inns along the canal give sustinance for the needy!. The Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust at Martin Mere is directly two miles away and we have our own 'hide' from where you are able to observe our resident barn owls. We are utterly committed to sustainable touring and have lots of ideas for car-free activities. Built over a century ago, these former farm buildings have been elegantly and professionally converted to give homely, present-day, simple attention amenities while quiet retaining a lot of of the original has. The Dairy, The Shippon & The Granary all lie around an enclosed cobbled patio. Ranging in size, every features its own characteristic fashion & character. With full central heating they are accessible for long or short stays during all the year. All are beautifyed and kept to a extremely high standard.
