Why not visit at the guesthouse which our clients have described as having 'The Best View In The Bay' Step back in time and recline in our conventional Scottish family run hotel. The Donn family invites you to their home and smallish family hotel. The apartments are suitable and individualy colored in a classical style in keeping with the 100 year old house. Apartments to the facade have fantastic views over Oban gulf. Hole golf, fishing, horse-riding, sailing and swimming are all accessible within easy walking distance. Please take into account lat we have listed as a holiday hotel as we operate on a bed & breakfast and suite only basis and apartment sizes able to vary. Please take into account that as the guesthouse features a pets welcome policy it may not be good for persons with pet allergies. There is a central feature staircase in the guesthouse (and no lift), however the lowest bedrooms are on the 2nd floor. As a little family run hotel we hope that your visit with us will feel more like a home from home rather than just a hotel as it features been our home for 29 years. Please propose an approximate time of arrival to avoid delays at check in. Standard check-in time is between 3pm and 9:30pm. Arrivals outwith these times are by arrangement only.

Transportation

The guesthouse Is situated on Obans central street George Street and is facing the gulf within a pair of mins wander to the railway station and ferry terminal which are in front of the hotel. Tweedale Street pay and display carpark is beyond the inn. There is no private car park at the inn. On avenue car park is chargeable between 9am and 6pm Monday to Saturday and currently cost 70p for fourty minutes with a maximum visit of two hours during this period, there are no charges or time limited between 6pm and 9am. Directly beyond the guesthouse there is a council owned carpark that charges 70p per hour between 9am and 6pm daily with no time restictions and is open days on end. There is a parking at every end of city that does not charge which is more good for visitors leaving there autos for several days.
