Royal Hotel Oban

General Information

The Royal Hotel stands in the very heart of city at the foot of the harbor and ferry terminal. It is leading position makes it perfect for visiting the West Coast of Scotland in addition to the Islands of Mull and Iona. Built in 1895 the tree Star AA given hotel provides conventional Scottish cordiality within quality present-day vicinage. A little parking is situated to the back of the guesthouse and features limited parking(non assured spacing). Our hall and ceilidh brasserie have been renovated to a high standard and we also now have FREE Wifi access in all public zone. All 91 wealthy bedrooms have individual bathroom and all have color TV, straight dial phone, cordiality tray, hairdryers and main heating. Our Restaurant proposes a famous selection of fresh Scottish make complimented by an enjoyable variety of wines. We also have an A La Carte restaurant which provides a peerless selction of meals. Located on the ground floor the Restaurant faces the Town Square. Unwind over a pre dinner drink, coffee or specimen a wee dram from our pleasant selection of Scottish Malt Whiskies. Evening amusement is a regular feature including the illustrious Scottish Show with Torquil the Piper.

Transportation

By highway take the A82 from Glasgow to Tyndrum and then the A85 to Oban. Coming from Fort William and the North take the A828 to Oban. The inn is located passed the esplanade and by the roundabout. Our parking is beyond the guesthouse.
