Transportation

From the North: From Fort William take the A82 to North Ballachulish, then the A828 to Benderloch. As you approach Benderloch you'll see Lochnell Primary School on your right. Turn right immediately after the school and follow Barcaldine Castle signage till you get to the palace (approx two miles). From the South: At the countryside of Connel, close to Oban follow signs for A828 to Benderloch which takes you over the Connel Bridge. Drive through Benderloch, passing both the countryside boutique (pink) and church on your right. As you close to the end of the countryside you'll see brown signage for Barcaldine Castle. Turn left (opposite Victory Hall) and follow signage to the palace (approx two miles).
