The Old Wisteria is a privy owned Hotel located in the centre of Oakham; Rutland's County city. Once a hunting lodge this listed property partly dates back to 1604. Transportation
Hotel located in Oakham on major highway that runs via the city and is next door to the County Museum. To access the parking it's significant to drive around the block and into South Street where our privately-owned driveway is signposted. Highways - Oakham is easily accessed from the A1 South - unite A606, A1 North - unite B668 and follow signs. From Corby or Kettering combine A6003. From Nottingham and Melton Mowbray unite A606. From M1 junctions close to Northampton, Kettering are the easiest routes. Train - Regular train services through Leicester and Peterborough come to the Oakham railway station and from the railway station it's a 10 min stroll down the high st to the inn. Plane - East Midlands Airport 60 kms by auto or cab. Stansted Airport 131km by auto, cab or straight train route.
