General Information

Ambion Court Hotel is an exquisite state hotel converted from an early 19th century farmhouse, and it faces the idyllic village green in Dadlington, a little and quiet countryside nestling in the centre of England. It's a 'no smoking' hotel that mixes today's expectations with yesterday's rural fascination. Stuccoed walls, oak beams and exposed brickwork provide the inn a conventional feel, even the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, color televisions, free access to wi-fi internet access and all the other facilities of a fashionable hotel. 2 of the bedrooms are in the antique hayloft and feature fabulous oak beams and vistas across the countryside green; one of these, the striking Pine Room with king-sized bed & matching pine furniture, is good for honeymoons and other peculiar events. The 5 other bedrooms, including an extensive family apartment, are at ground level in the ancient stables, with convenient individual entrances from the enclosed patio. There is independent private car park, floodlit at night, and the local bus stops right outside the guesthouse. The breakfast carte menu proposes a big range depending on your appetite, from cereals, fruit and yogurts to a lovely, conventional cooked breakfast. Dinner is obtainable from Monday to Saturday from a little but adventurous a la menu, and the cocktail lounge stocks a range of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks.

Transportation

At A5 roundabout west of Hinckley take A47 north towards Earl Shilton. At Morrisons Supermarket roundabout turn left towards Stoke Golding. On entering Stoke Golding turn right into Dadlington.
