At Coig na Shee you are to find a hospitable welcome, chic apartments (no chintz, regency stripes or tartan), stillness and tranquillity, and certainly, outstanding breakfasts. Coig na Shee is more than a holiday hotel. Coig na Shee proposes bed & breakfast lodging that we'd want to visit in ourselves. This means getting everything right, and further by paying care to the smallest detail, such as crisp white bed linen, vast comfortable towels, pampering toiletries, leaf and herbal teas, fresh coffee with a cafetiere, and a mini fridge for your fresh milk. Newtonmore is in ‘Monarch of the Glen country’, and much of the filming for the popular BBC TV drama series was in the countryside and encompassing region. During filming, a few principal cast members used Coig na Shee as their privately-owned residence. Situated in the center of the Spey Valley, Newtonmore is the main basis for strolling, climbing, mountain biking (Laggan Wolftrax Mountain Bike Park is directly mins down the road), golfing, skiing, horse riding and all kinds of water sports. Coig na Shee is again listed as one of 'Scotland's Great Guest Houses' in the most modern edition of 'Scotland the Best' by Peter Irvine.
