General Information

The Cottages have been converted from an L-shaped stone barn. Each effort features been made to retain the character and mood of the original building while providing each comfort and convenience. All the Cottages have a living room, dining district, two bedrooms and bathroom with bath and shower. The kitchens are well furnished with washing machines and microwave ovens. Bed linen and towels are offered. There is an organic cider apple orchard with a play district for kids, also a wild meadow where wild birds and butterflies abound in the spring and summer months. A 19 acre field with an old copse and stream allows space for exploration, strolling dogs, or just lounging and appreciating the vistas. Ducks swim in the ancient cart wash and chickens independent range; pet goats and pigs are either in the barns or the orchard. Small city of Chudleigh is 1 mile away and features all significant amenities. Exeter and Plymouth are a short ride, and we are perfectly located for visiting North and South Devon, and Cornwall. Dartmoor National Park is two miles away, and the beaches of Teignmouth, Dawlish and Torbay are all a short ride away. Off highway parking amenities are provided. Well behaved dogs welcome. *Bookings are Saturday to Saturday.
