Porth Lodge is a pleasing 'olde worlde' hotel embedded in a tranquil state lane, just two mins from the golden sands of Porth Bay. Its sheltered situation makes for a greatly excellent vacation at any time of year. The seventeenth centuty Inn with its low ceilings, cozy nooks and 'olde worlde' fascination, is leading with both holidaymakers and locals alike. Porth coast is a favourite for young families and couples, away from the more hectic fuss of this thrilling vacation resort, yet close enough for you to enjoy all of its service when you wish. For those holidaying by coach or train the central station is Newquay and the airport a short 10 to fifteen min drive away. The bus stop for Newquay airport is 100 yards from Porth Lodge. It's a charming base for most activity weekends including surfing, strolling and golfing (there are a few local courses) and in addition for exploration the exhilarating coastline. Only a 10 mintues drive from the major A30 route making the peaceful location perfectly placed to discover this fascinating shire and central atractions. The Porth Lodge proposes a major brasserie, which is extremely suitable and open from 7-11pm. We have an excellent open fire and we are located down a very tranquil, quiet lane leading to Porth Beach, yet just 200 yards from it. Home-cooked food and pub fayre is obtainable. Dogs are welcome at Porth Lodge although a little supplementary charge of £10 per visit applies. Porth Lodge features a 4 lane computerised tenpin bowling side street and proposes self-sufficient bowling to dwellers before midday.
