Hebburn itself is also steeped in heritage, the Longship is named after a local legend which claimed that a Viking Longboat lay protected in the banks of the Tyne till early last century. We Are also in wonderful location for access to gateshead stadium and the waterside city of South Shields in addition to being a good stopover for those traveling up and down the state as we are close to the A19 and its crossing under the Tyne via the Tyne Tunnel.

From the major A19 dual carriageway, follow the A185 victoria Road East towards Hebburn then turn left into Ushaw Road where you can find the Longship on your left hand side. The Nearest Metro stations, Hebburn and Jarrow are just half a mile away and Newcastle Airport is 10 miles away.
