General Information

Cwmbach Cottages is one of the quieter places to visit, nestled on a hill side encircled by mature woods just half a mile above the countryside of Cadoxton. Our site is perfect for strolling with a net of foot paths which beginning 100m away and lead into Graig Gwladys Country Park and onto Aberdulais Water Falls. The Cottages were once six individual cottages, but have now been converted into one; 3 include our living quarters and the other 3 have been converted to a holiday hotel. There are 5 en-suite suites: 3 double bedrooms; one family room; and 1 first floor twin bedded suite good for wheel chair access - with access to the dinning suite. Further to a hall leads to the park, decking and fish ponds with beautiful vistas over looking Neath and encompassing region. Privately-owned off highway car park is obtainable for up to 6 autos. All prices comprise: full English Breakfast, (vegetarian option available), tea and coffee facility plus T.V. in all bedrooms. Mountain BikingVery popular with Mountain Bikers - just fifteen mins from Afon Forest Mountain Bike Trails. Our amenities comprise: bike wash region with power washer; drying apartments and safe lock up for bikes. Eating OutJust half a mile down the highway is a local PubRestaurant called the Crown and Sceptre with a excellant image where you are able to have brasserie meals or a a-la-carte in the restaurant where booking is advised. Neath Town is only just over 1 mile away where there are a lot of more places to eat. Areawe are: only one mile from the Town of Neath ; four miles off the M4 motorway; 8 miles from Swansea approximately thirty minutes from: Cardiff, Brecon Beacons, and Carmarthen.

Transportation

M4 fusion 43 on to A465 for four miles, at the 4th turn off, signposted Seven Sisters take the 1st exit on roundabout, follow highway for approximately 1 mile till church on left.. Immediate right at Church, Cwmbach Road, signposted, leading to the Guest House. For Trains or Bus straight to Neath, cab 1 mile from cottages, or a telephone for possible self-sufficient pick up.
