General Information

The Durdans visitor apartments have been thoughtfully endowed to propose a touch of luxury, visitor bedrooms are personally designed to provide every one its own particular feel. The pocket sprung beds and Egyptian cotton bedding all add to the feeling of luxury. There are TV's and tea/coffee making amenities in the suites and the en-suites carry a variety of Crabtree and Evelyn toiletries. The breakfasts are well-known here, if you choose a hearty Norfolk cooked breakfast, with locally sourced make, mainland or a lighter fish alternative. Our bed & breakfast lodging is fully located for visits to North Norfolk cities like Cromer, Sheringham or Wells-next-the-Sea, the Norfolk Broads, the North Norfolk Heritage beach, the marvellous City of Norwich, the National Trust Estates of Blickling and Felbrigg Hall and plenty of other park amusements. Andrew and Caroline have designed a warm, informal atmosphere throughout the cottage paying unique care to retaining the original has. The extensive lounge with its Edwardian hearth is dominated by the spacious, sweeping stairs which lead to the amazing, galleried landing above. The breakfast room and visitor living room both lead off the lounge and have vistas to the west, facing the sunken lawn. The living room features a long, wooden window seat ideal for soothing with a magazine or book chosen from the varied selection.
