General Information

Our objective is to assure that you have a relaxing stay; the commodious lodging with astonishing vistas over the Moffat Hills and wealthy bedrooms facilitate us to achieve this. We are based in Beattock, 3 miles from Moffat in the east of Dumfries and Galloway. We are close enough to the major highways to produce us available, but far enough away to be in a tranquil state setting. We offer bed & breakfast accommodation; superking beds and full Scottish breakfast using locally sourced ingredients. Dumfries and Galloway is a charming undiscovered part of Scotland, full of pleasant strolls, fantastic landscape, palaces and galleries, just to name several things! Check-in from 4pm and check-out by 11am. We hope to go through you shortly.

Transportation

Leave the M74 motorway at Junction 15 (signposted Beattock, Moffat, Dumfries). Follow signs for Beattock. Drive through Beattock, passing The Old Stables Restaurant on your left and Beattock Primary School on your right. The highway then bends round to the right, under a railway bridge passing Craigielands Caravan Park on your right. Follow this highway for just under a mile. The drive up to Marchbankwood Guest House is on your right, opposite a white house and just before the highway rejoins the major A701. Follow the drive up to the upper and there you'll find Marchbankwood Guest House.
