Glendower House is located in a charming tree lined highway. It's an Edwardian terraced cottage just several minutes level amble from both Minehead city center and the sea facade with its commodious sandy coastline and prom leading to the ancient haven. All rooms in the hotel have been individualy colored and catered to a high standard, and all have adjacent service. Minehead, one of Somerset’s leading vacation spas and the ‘Gateway to Exmoor’, is the perfect location from which to discover the National Park and encircling region. Glendower House, a family run, no smoking guesthouse, is the site to visit for quality bed & breakfast lodging. Minehead also has gorgeous terraces, a peerless range of restaurants, pubs, amusement and sports amenities making it the perfect place for all holidaymakers. One attraction not to be missed is the West Somerset Railway; Britains longest and most tenderly restored history railway hiking to Bishops Lydeard close to Taunton. Breakfast at the holiday hotel is catered in our roomy breakfast room. We provide a varied selection of items, all just prepared, using wherever possible, local, organic and fairtrade products. These comprise fairtrade fruit juices, Exmoor organic sausage and bacon, and marmalades and jams handcrafted in the Brendon Hills. Specific dietary needs able to be served for, please let us know.
