The purchase of the city's antique Post Office features enabled proprietors Paul and Helen Klein to organize a 60-cover bar and 5 recent bedrooms. The guesthouse features 17 individualy colored and cozy bedrooms, which are a sensitive and imaginative mixture of the ancient and the recent, retaining the conventional fascination of this historic inn whilst incorporating the majority modern facilities. Facing the town's good market place piazza and bragging excellent rustic vistas, the White Swan is now a premier city cottage hotel with first-rate amenities including free wi-fi for all dwellers. The region is steeped in heritage. Transportation

From the A1Leave the A1 at Leeming BarBedale and take the A684 to Bedale. Go through Bedale taking directions for the A684 to Leyburn. Just before Leyburn heart take the A6108 to Ripon. A petrol station stands on the corner of this combination. Follow the highway for about one mile and it will lead you into Middleham Market Place. Turn left and the White Swan is on the left.
