The Pig of Lead was formerly a social cottage and is located on the suburbs of the idyllic village of Bonsall. Now offering bed and breakfast lodging with en-suite apartments. All the apartments have central heating, tea & facilities of making coffee and colour television with teletext and DVD player. There is a visitor living room with solid fuel stove to unbend in at the end of the day. It's perfectly located within direct access to districts of local interest in the Derbyshire Dales and the Peak District. We have off highway car parking and safe car park whether required. Whether you're a walker you are able to garden your auto for the month and discover social footpaths in all directions on the doorstep. This is a family home with a lively and natural ambience where we will endeavour to produce your visit as lounging and fine as possible. Opposite The Pig of Lead are Dunsley Meadows which are a little group of traditionally grazed fields on the west side between the woodland and the vale bottom. Here are some surrounding places to go and stay, in and around the locality: Arkwrights mill, Chatsworth cottage, Masson mill, Haddon lounge, National stone palace and Scarthin books.
