Following on from a full apartments renovation, the Grouse and Claret reopened in Spring 2008 as a Marston's Inn. The pub itself is a pleasing 18th century building and proposes 8 en-suite suites within the structure, catered to a high standard and offering tea/coffee making service, flatscreen TV's, sumptuous bedding and free wireless internet in the suites. Our elegant breakfast is constantly complimentary to our dear guests and consists of a variety of cooked choices in addition to a mainland propose. The Grouse and Claret is situated at the gateway to the Peak District National Park on the A6 between Matlock and Bakewell.
