The Rectory Hotel close to Malmesbury is a cute, luxuriously furnished period cottage embedded in 3 acres of Cotswold stone walled park. Recently repaired, it's an amiable base from which to discover the Cotswolds, Tetbury, Bath and the old town of Malmesbury.

The 12 bedrooms at The Rectory are all personally designed and feature hand sprung mattresses, marvellous Egyptian linens, deep baths and power showers, bathrobes and handmade bathroom products from Arran Aromatics from Scotland. All rooms in the hotel have vistas over the Victorian terraces. We have a charming well established Victorian walled park with sets of croquet and boules at reception desk for visitors to use.

There is also a ping-pong desk beside the open-air heated swimming pool. The forest panelled restaurant faces the park and sunken Victorian baptism pool. In the summer, meals able to be catered interior in the breakfast room or outside in the gorgeous Victorian formal terraces.
