General Information

Penvith Barns is a marvellous site to visit in the winter-time. My hearty breakfast will set you up for whatever the day may bring. Our comfortable, centrally heated suites will invite you back from your excursions, with a tumble dryer accessible for any wet-weather mishaps. Autumn strolls on the surrounding South-West Coast Path or Winter Wanders while beachcombing are prominent ways to admire the shire when all the vacation makers have gone home. There are a lot of widely-known all-weather park amusements to stay, and Looe features some of one of the best restaurants in Cornwall to finish off your day. Our course, our warmhearted herd of alpacas are just as glad to greet guests whatever the time of year.

Transportation

From England - Bypass Plymouth on the A38 and take the Tamar Bridge into Cornwall. Follow the A38 for approximately five miles turning left at the Trerulefoot Roundabout, signposted Looe. After mile turn right onto the A387 signposted Looe. After approximately five miles, Penvith is signposted to the left at No Mans Land countryside. You might find the signs to the Monkey Sanctuary easier to follow. Continue following the signs to PenvithMonkey Sanctuary. You'll find us on the left hand side mile before the monkeys. From Cornwall - Bypass Liskeard heading east on the A38. Turn right onto the B3252 signed towards Looe. Follow for approximately three miles then turn left onto a greatly narrow lane signed toward Bindown. Twinaways Farm is on one corner and there is an ample hand-painted sign for the Monkey Sanctuary on the other corner. Visit on this narrow lane, over the cross-road, past Looe Golf Club and down the hill to Bindown. At the end of the lane turn right, and after 50 yards, turn left into No Mans Land. You'll pick up signs for Penvith here, but you might find the signs to the Monkey Sanctuary easier to follow. Continue following the signs to PenvithMonkey Sanctuary. You'll find us on the left hand side mile before the monkeys.
