The Village inn is a family run, family welcoming state Inn. We are proud of ourseleves on the a high level of client amenities and a vivacious, pleasing ambiance. We provide conventional Northumberland food locally sourced and airy daily, you'll often discover a rabbit stew or venison steak on our carte menu with a promise that it was sourced from within 20 miles of the structure. We certainly provide all the conventional British favourites. The Bistro is attractively enhanced with soft colours and complimented by roaring coal fires for those evening drinks after a hearty meal. The Village Inn is the perfect location to access some of Northumberland's best sights such as the great Alnwick Gardens and Castle, cragside cottage and terraces, Holy Island, Bamburgh Castle and a lot of more. There are also some well-known strolls only mins away from our door that truly enable you to take in the pretty Northumbrian landscape. We are a 1 minute drive away from the River Coquet illustrious for its salmon, sea trout and brown trout. There are four courses in golf within a fifteen minute drive. We are happy to be can propose five recently refurbished bed & breakfast suites consisting of three double suites, 1 single and a luxury king size room. The apartments have been renewed in a way as to add all the luxuries of up-to-date appliances such as flat sreen LCD televisions and WiFi access, without losing some famous original has such as the wooden beams. Every room is equipped with its own en-suite shower and WC and proposes tea/coffee making amenities, dressing desk and mirror and a detach wardrobe. Thanks to the design of our 18th century building and our celebrated joyous and often pretty ambience, the sound able to travel via the ancient stone walls during opening hours.
