This is a prime choice for those hiking on a budget, specifically with its main location. (07/08RPL)The apartments are little and featureless, but practical and in fair condition, though the furniture looks a small dated. The bathrooms are also in fair condition. The guesthouse is situated on Russell Square, the nearest subway station is Russell Square which provides direct access to all regions of London. The British Museum, Oxford Street and Covent Garden are within short distance. The restaurant is an immense, fascinating apartment with decorative dark forest panelling, and uncommon white marble statues and crests round the walls. It's a vast up-to-date building in characteristic seventies fashion and the entrance hall is reached by means of a patio set back off the avenue. The big foyer is provided to a high standard, with an amiable marble floor.
