Allt-na-craig House proposes a famous standard of lodging in all of its en-suite bedrooms, with vistas either over Loch Fyne and Loch Gilp, or our well tended terraces. Located in the antique fishing countryside of Ardrishaig, Argyll, we are well placed for surrounding activities, such as plentiful strolls, horse riding, clay pigeon shooting, fishing, cycle hire the list is endless. Attractions including Crinan Canal, Kilmartin House Museum with it is fine coffee boutique and standing stones. For people travelling on business we are a stones throw away from the Argyll and Bute Council offices, mins from the ferry terminals to Islay, Gigha and Arran. Oban is an hour up the highway and is the gateway to the Western Isles. Allt-na-craig, the preceding childhod home of Kenneth Grahame, author of the notable novel Wind in the WIllows, is a generous 5 apartment accomodation comprising of exceptional double, standard double, twin, single and family suite, we also have a house to the back of the cottage to assist accomodate larger parties. The licenced breakfast room serves home-cooked food made from local ingredients on our fine Red Aga. The living room with open fire and plentiful supply of reading material is a lovely site to relax, often seen from the window are a family of scarlet squirrels as they feed from the peanut feeder, dolphins, otters and seals in the loch, and deer wondering round the park.
