Ty Carreg Bed and Breakfast Llanwrtyd Wells

General Information

Our BandB is a little, warm and hospitable family home. The cottage features lately undergone spacious renewal with recent bathrooms and bedrooms. The cottage nestles beside the southern edge of the Cambrian hills, a big region of great genuine beauty which is restful relatively unknown. The Brecon Beacons, too, from the other side of the Irfon dale, are a heaven for walkers and cyclists. We have only 2 apartments for visitors; one a twin with adjacent shower apartment and the other a double with its own individual bathroom. The cottage, although contemporary, is superb with numerous antiques and paintings. We have a bespoke classical digital Phoenix church organ and a Bechstein majestic piano for the use of clients who might play. We take well-known pride over our breakfasts. We have our own independent collection hens, honey from our bees - taking leisure of all the wild bunchs of flowers in the region, home made jams and home baked bread every day in the morning. Other foods are locally sourced and vegetarians are well served for. We are only 5 minutes from the town centre with all its uncommon and showy occasions. We have ample secure and safe car park so being can drink is not a problem! The city features its own brewery with a choice of delicious beers! The Heart of Wales railway runs via the city and this able to form the base from which to discover more distant places, with or without bicycles. We indeed do try to produce our dear guests feel at home and guests able to be guaranteed of a sincere welcome and all our care.

Transportation

From Builth Wells take the A483 for approximately 12 miles towards Llandovery. Upon entering the countryside take the 1st turn to the left, in front of the garage. Continue up the hill and take the 1st left into Erw Haf. Ignore the 1st turning to the left but take the 2nd one being a track with a vacant overgown plot on one side.
