Located in a particular postion literally facing the unbelievable River Dee with it is racing white water and leaping salmon. Flanked by one of the oldest highways (A5), the oldest Canals, the vintage steam railway line and the majority renowned bridge to cross the river Dee, the guesthouse could not occupy a more good tranquil location. Although standing in splendid isolation, the inn is exactly two miles from the bustling city of Llangollen, and Chester and Wrexham are only 25 and ten mins away respectively. The Riverside brasserie and Restaurant are unsurprisingly named such are their vistas outside of the commodious windows. A classical choice of dishes are attainable from the desk d'hote carte menu in addition to the a la Carte choice and truly hospitable individual service is backed up by excellent food at modest prices. The original building where you enter dates back to the nineteenth Century while the accomodation is a newer annexe with commodious windows providing customers with prominent vistas. The entrance is little with a little greenhouse region leading off with grand vistas over the river.
