Llandrindod Wells is in the midst of Mid Wales and is a firstrate site to tour the nearby districts from. With plenty of celebrated regions of beauty and historical relevance you're never without something to do or see. There are a lot of places to stay within a short auto trip such as Hay on Wye (famous for their book festival), The Elan dale (four reservoirs and plenty of well-known walks), Builth Wells (The Royal Welsh Show) and Leominster (Antique centre). There are also plenty of attractions in Llandrindod Wells and as we are located in the very heart of city, these are no more than several mins stroll away. They comprise The Lake, The Rock Park and Spa, Temple Gardens and the Albert Hall. Whether you wish to do something a bit more energetic there is the Bowling Centre both indoors and outdoors in addition to the fantastic Harry Vardon planned Llandrindod Wells Golf Club (see services for hole golf deals), with its challenging course and probably one of the best vistas in Powys. We also have a Tennis Club and a Leisure Centre. Portland House itself is located in the center of Llandrindod Wells, within short distance to all of the local boutiques, pubs, bistros and restaurants. Portland House is a splendid Grade II listed building which contains plenty of of its original has. With so plenty of things to do or see on your visit, we feel that Portland House is a peerless spot to relax and unwind at the end of your day.
