Here, weather permitting there are imposing glorious views of the nearby village. On serene days the Irish Coast able to be seen.

Transportation

Access to Y Gwynedd Inn and Restaurant is simple. It is only approximately one hour from the M56 which joins the A55 Expressway. and it is less than 15 mins from the A55 Expressway itself. Take the A55 Expressway along the North Wales beach following the signs for Bangor. From here the countryside is clearly signposted. Leave the A55 at the A5 mix (Junction 11) signposted to Bangor, Betws y Coed and the huge brown Tourist sign marked Llanberis. Turn left towards Betws y Coed but almost immediately prepare to turn right onto the A4244. Keep on this highway for four miles and turn left at the roundabout onto the B4547 for a further four miles to a T blend with the A4086. Turn left towards Llanberis. Turn into the countryside and follow the high avenue almost to the end. The Gwynedd will be the last hotel on the left opposite Costcutters. From the direction of Shrewsbury take the A5 to Capel Curig. Turn left onto the A4086 and remain on this highway to Llanberis. Turn into the countryside to the left. The Hotel is the 1st on the right (opposite Costcutters). Please garden down the side highway along side the inn or, whether there is space, in the inn car parking available from this side highway. Bangor major line Station is around ten miles from the Hotel. Taxis are accessible at the Station. During the day, buses 85 and 86 from Bangor Station to Llanberis are also accessible. Whether you ask the bus driver beautifully, most will actually drop you just outside the guesthouse facade door!
