The Blenheim Lakeside Hotel is a nicely restored Victorian Villa facing the boating lake in Sefton Park, the biggest garden in Liverpool. It's one of the original detached houses on the perimeter of the square where wealthy merchants and shipping magnates once lived in fashion. More present-day heritage confirms that 'The Blenheim' was the family home of original Beatles member Stuart Sutcliffe in the 1960s. Stuart's family continued to live there after his tragic death following a Beatles tour to Hamburg. 37 Aigburth Drive features moved on; however we have been careful to remember our legacy. Over Autumn 2007 the guesthouse was re-developed and upgraded. Stui's Bar, named in honour of Stuart Sutcliffe, is one the hotel's focal points - a pleasant venue for clients to chat and relax over a drink or 2. Non-residents are also welcome.
