Lifton Hall Hotel

General Information

Lifton Hall is a 2 star, Grade II listed building dating from the sixteenth Century that combines conventional character with contemporary refurbishments including wi-fi i-net and digital TV. We're a family run hotel and goal to produce your visit with us as relaxing as possible. We have ten vast, discretely furnished apartments, all with en suite amenities. We cater locally sourced, home-cooked, honest food in a loosen and lovely ambience. We are perfectly located for hiking the southwest, yet far enough away from the fuss of some of the great spas. There are widely-known beaches, wild moor land and some of Devon and Cornwall's finest guest park amusements within simple get to. The antique market place city Launceston is only 5-10 min drive while both The Eden Project and the north beach able to be reached within 45 mins. Bodmin Moor and Dartmooor are under thirty minutes drive. For hole golf enthusiasts there are dozens of courses in the region, with the closest 10-15 min drive away. We currently propose the Out To Play Golf' scheme with 2 green fees for the price of one. Our brasserie features loads of conventional spell, including 2 open fires, and is the ideal place to appreciate an beer and some newly cooked food. We have 2 outside seating regions where you are able to sit and enjoy a cream tea or a glass of chilled wine. Free wi-fi in most suites and all communal regions. Pets are welcome. Transportation

From the M5 heading westward, leave at combination 31 (the end of the M5) and take the A30 towards Okehampton. Visit on the A30 for approximately fourty minutes, passing Okehampton, heading for Launceston. Leave the A30 at the Liftondown exit and follow the signs for Lifton - Hotels and BandBs. Continue via the countryside, and this hotel is on your left soon after the post office and shops. The parking entry is immediately after the guesthouse building. From Cornwall, take the A30 heading east. Exit the A30 at the Liftondown exit and follow the signs for Lifton - Hotels and BandBs. Continue via the countryside, and this hotel is on your left soon after the post office and shops. Our nearest railroad stations are Exeter and Plymouth. Exeter is the better option whether you are hiking from the east and is on the WaterlooPaddington line to Penzance. It takes about three hours from London. Taxis able to usually be caught outside the station, but its often cheaper whether you ask us to organise a cab to choose you up. Plymouth station may be better whether you are hiking from Cornwall. Again taxis able to be arranged to determine you up. Our closest airports are Exeter and Newquay. Bristol is also within a pair of hours. Taxis or auto hire are accessible.
