General Information

One of the best traditions to be found in England is that of the grange. Representing a fine retreat from the fuss of daily life, they have constantly been places for the lucky few to unbend, relax and catch up with friends. The farmstead guesthouse is the current day interpretation and Newick Park in East Sussex is the best. It's one of the few to be personally owned and run so it calm feels exactly like a family home; it's chic and welcoming, with roomy log fires, imposing antiques and pleasant personnel

Their Head Chef Chris Moore heads up a brigade of devoted chefs who make the majority spectacular food, with much of their fruit and vegetables coming from their own organically run Walled Garden. Game comes from the estate during the winter months and all the food is sourced as locally as possible. They are naturally very pleased to have been presented their third AA Rosette for yet another year, making them the unmatched restaurant in East Sussex to hold this accolade, and 1 of the upper 10% in Great Britain and Ireland.

Transportation

From Newick Village turn off the A272 at the countryside green and, following the countryside signpost, continue down the lane for approximately 1 mile past 2 pubs, a garage and the church till you arrive to a T mix. Turn left and after several hundred yards, around some sharp bends the lobby to Newick Park will be found on your right.
