The Greaves Hotel is situated just over half a mile to the south of Lancaster downtown on the A6. It's convenient for work persons in addition to being ideally located as a stop over or as a base to stay the city’s historical sights and genuine beauty spots of the north west. Lancaster is an energetic uni town with a prosperity of heritage, start life as a Roman Fort in 80AD. Now its cobbled streets are lined with stylish, stone houses filled with nice boutiques, cafes and restaurants. Like the relaxation of Lancashire, Lancaster prides itself on the benefit of wonderful local make. Specimen it in comfortable pubs and swish restaurants throughout the city. Or boutique for hearty local peculiarities at the Farmer’s Market on Market Square, which takes site each 2nd Wednesday. Lancaster is also not far away from the wonderful Morecambe Bay. The Trough of Bowland, the Yorkshire Dales and certainly the Lake District National Park are all within a 35 minute drive, while surrounding Morecambe proposes incredible glorious views across the majority scenic creek in England. The hotel is proud of 16 luxury adjacent bedrooms, 8 situated in the original building and 8 in the Coach House. All apartments are ornamented to a fine standard with remote control colour TV, Sky TV, straight dial phone, trouser press, hair dryer and refreshment trays. Our warm and inviting Lounge Bar proposes a full variety of beverages from cask conditioned ales to cocktails. Fresh food, including daily specials are catered evenings with "deli-style" sandwiches or siesta tea accessible all day. Our modern hall brasserie, The Last Drop Inn, provides speciality coffees, cocktails & light lunches which are catered throughout the evening, with leather sofas, local artwork & live music most nights.
