These 2 pubs later became known as simply the Farmer's Arms, till Daniel Thwaites Brewery of Blackburn entirely transformed it with a 2million GBP renewal in 2007. The guesthouse is embeded right in the middle of the historical University City of Lancaster at the mix of Penny Street and Aldcliffe Road - facing the Lancaster canal.
