Situated in the prime countryside of Barbon, nestled in the Lune dale between the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales, 10 min from Junction 36 of the M6 lies the Barbon Inn - this 17th former training inn is situated in the quaint and calm small countryside of Barbon in the Lune Valley. Found deep in the rural area between the Yorkshire Dales and the English Lake District (an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty), the guesthouse is the main basis for a tranquil getaway in charming pretty village. All 10 of the bedrooms are discretely furnished for comfort, are en-suite with color TVs and teacoffee making amenities. Come morning visitors able to wake from a generous night's sleep in the affable environment of their apartment fully restored to an amorous full English breakfast with tea and coffee prepared for the day ahead. The hotel's restaurant is in a stylish, candle lit suite and is proud of an A la Carte carte menu, desk d'hote dishes and for visitors not desiring to have dinner in the restaurant meals able to be ordered from the brasserie dishes and taken in the brasserie or the ale park. Transportation

From the M6: Leave the M6 at combination 36 onto the A65 sign-posted Kirkby Lonsdale, entering Nook, Cow Brow and Lupton, Continue onto Kirkby Lonsdale turning left onto A683 to Casterton. From Casterton the A683 is signposted all the way to Barbon. Turn right off the A683 into Barbon and the Hotel is on the major highway on the left just before Barnrigg Road.
