As we have the exclusive Four Star Silver Award by the English Tourist Board you're secured of a sincere welcome The ambience of this prime Georgian cottage is vivacious and relaxing, and the resident owners are constantly on hand to assure that your visit is an enchanting one. Conventional furniture enhances the character of every of the nine roomy bedrooms, every personally designed are finely decorated with more than a touch of luxury. The liberal full English breakfast (or vegetarian option) will set you up for the day, if strolling, climbing or sightseeing. After the days exertions you can have a rest in the refined and cheerful lounge, or adore the tasteful and well-tended terraces. 3 of the bedrooms have elegant 4 placard beds. All bedrooms are en-suite with an option of bathroom or shower apartment, and all have color freeview televisions, radio alarms, teacoffee making amenities and cordiality trays. Our apartments are centrally heated so are lovely and comfortable even on the coldest of Lakeland days and being in a still place you won't have to worry approximately sleepless nights! As you are able to see from the photographs, all our suites are highly serene. One first floor bedroom is obtainable and all bedrooms are cleaned daily, assuring the entire cleanliness. Twin and family suites are accessible. Customers enter Acorn House through a greenhouse with a live fruit bearing grape vine. This is a lovely suite to sit and appreciate the sunshine. There is also a broad and radiant dwellers hall where you are sure to enjoy a generous book and unwind after a day in Keswick or strolling the fells. Acorn House features a non-smoking Policy and I'm afraid we cannot accommodate pets.

Transportation

Keswick is situated only 16 miles from the M6 motorway. At fusion 40 (Penrith) head towards Keswick and Cockermouth. Major Route: Enter Keswick at the 1st turning. At the T-junction turn right and follow the highway (Penrith Road) till you go past Fitz Park (on the right) and go up a slight incline. At the upper is a left turn in front of the war memorial and then an instant 2nd left beside Cumbrian Properties. Follow Southey Street to the end of the highway and Acorn House is infront of you. Alternative Route: Following the 1st turning to the city head left at the T-junction. After approx. 12 mile turn right (to the city center and Castlerigg Manor). Go down the steep hill and this highway turns into Ambleside Road. Acorn House is located on your right before you get to the church..From the South Lakes directions are even easier! When coming into Keswick, turn left (to the city center and Castlerigg Manor). Go down the steep hill and this highway turns into Ambleside Road. Acorn House is located on your right before you get to the church.
