General Information

We're in the IP4 district of Ipswich, near Ipswich NHS Hospital, Ipswich Nuffield Health Hospital, University College Suffolk, Trinity Park and Foxhall Stadium, within a short distance of Adastral Park (Route 66) and the city center, the beach and village being just a short ride away. Whether you like keeping fit we have jogging routes prepared to print for you and we have also arranged temporary membership for you at a local gymnasium. For those of you more inclined to enjoy a matchless book, there are a lot to select from and some cosy armchairs to go with them!

Transportation

Coming to Ipswich from the NorthMidlandsNorwich direction through the A14:-Take the 1st exit off to Ipswich and follow Bury Road and then Norwich Road in towards the Town Centre. After approx two miles turn left at a double roundabout on to Valley Road. Continue direct ahead (over roundabouts and lights). Pass the cemetery on your right, over a little railway bridge and after 400-500 yards you'll see the Fire Station on your left, adjacent to the Royal George Pub and a roundabout. Turn right at that roundabout and Sidegate Guest House is several hundred yards further on the right, in front of the primary school. Coming to Ipswich from the SouthLondon direction through the A12:-On the suburbs of Ipswich there is an interchange roundabout with the A14 (you will find a huge Toys R Us store on the other side of the roundabout). Go direct over and follow the highway into Ipswich. After approx two miles you'll arrive at a traffic light fusion at the base of a long downhill section. Go direct over these lights, keeping in the left hand lane till you get to the 2nd traffic light fusion approximately 200 yards further on. Turn left here into Yarmouth Road. Continue direct on over all lights and roundabouts for approximately a mile and a half till you pass the cemetery on your right and go over a little railway bridge. Approximately 400-500 yards after that bridge you'll see the Fire Station on your left, neighboring to the Royal George Pub and a roundabout. Turn right at that roundabout and Sidegate Guest House is several hundred yards further on the right, in front of the primary school.
