Located in the idyllic village of Dowlish Wake, The New Inn is a 350 year ancient stone built pub and is located only two hundred yards from the ever popular Perry's Cider Mill and Museum. Our extravagant carte menu consists of a prosperity of home-cooked dishes made from locally sourced make wherever possible. Freshness and quality is an absolute must. We have 2 detach brasserie districts both with forest burning stoves, a dazzling non-smoking restaurant serving snacks and suppers and a comprehensive solitary ale park which is good for those warm summer months in the evenings. Our carte menu has wonderful home-cooked food - with make being sourced locally whenever possible. From steaks to fish and game, we have an attractive carte menu that proposes celebrated diversity and choice; we serve for most diets including gluten independent and vegetarian dishes. No pub would be the entire without a choice of true ales, our ales are constantly well maintained - that’s a guarantee. Butcombe Bitter and Otter Ale are constantly featured. Our 4 en-suite visitor bedrooms propose a high level of comfort and were given four stars with The AA. Located in our sunny excellent park, every room is decorated with taste and accommodated with old wardrobes and dressing tables. All of our rooms are on the 1st floor in a disunite annex to the major building and have colour television, tea/coffee making service, complimentary toiletries and a café fashion breakfast that will set you up for the day ahead!
