Elsted House Hinckley (England)

General Information

Elsted House is a totally re-equipped Edwardian cottage offering quality lodging & breakfast. Located on the northern edge of Hinckley city center we are within a short distance of the city center butiques and restaurants. Just a short ride away are local sights such as Mallory Park Motor Racing Circuit, Stoney Cove Dive Centre, Triumph Motorcycles and the Bosworth Battlefield. Our apartments are commodious and individualy colored with cozy beds and top quality linen and towels. Every room is equipped with a complimentary beverage tray, clock radio, hair dryer and colour television with either a video or DVD player. Breakfast, catered in our breakfast room, able to be a easy beginning to the day of juice, tea or savoury coffee and toast or a hearty full English, all cooked to order. We also provide free i-access to customers with wireless equipping. Off highway parking zone is available and we are an absolutely non smoking cottage.

Transportation

Directions: Travelling from the South take the M1 and leave at fusion 18 follow the A5 north to Hinckley (approx. 13 miles) then follow directions below from M69A5 island. Hiking from the North take the M1 to blend 21 then combine the M69. Exit the M69 at mix two and follow the directions below from J2 M69. Hiking from the West take the M6, then M69 leave at J1 and follow the directions below from M69A5 island. From J1 - M69A5 islandtake the Hinckley highway following the city center signs then pick up the signs for the B4667 heading to Market Bosworth (also signposted Mallory Park and Barwell). In the very heart of city you'll come to a right hand turn which says city center ignore this and go direct ahead, you then extremely quickly come to a crossroads with traffic lights where you are sure to see the Leisure Centre in facade of you to the left go direct across these lights. You'll then pass Hammonds Furniture on the left and Classic Interiors on the right. At the following set of lights the highway forks take the right hand lane, at the following lights bear left - you'll pass the Police Station and existing Magistrates Court on left, Sellers Undertakers on right followed by a BP garage on left. Look out for a Mitsubishi garage on the left just before a set of lights and turn right onto Derby Road at these lights. Elsted House is a small way down this highway on the right No. 101, a double fronted cottage opposite The Limes and before the sharp right hand bend. From J2 - M69take the highway into Hinckley city center following the B4469 for approx. two. three miles. At a fork in the highway (left hand is to city centre) follow right hand fork round a bend and you'll get to a set of traffic lights at a staggered crossroads, this is the Spa LaneLeicester Road blend where you turn left, at the following lights (BandQ on left) turn right onto Derby Road. Elsted House is on the left after the sharp left hand bend (Weavers Arms on bend) opposite The Limes. From LeicesterEarl Shiltontake the A47A4468 into Hinckley, at the Spa LaneLeicester Road traffic lights go direct on, at the following lights follow above from .From Market Bosworthtake the A447B4667 into Hinckley. At the Upper Bond StreetDerby Road traffic lights (Elm Lea Hotel on right) turn left onto Derby Road. Elsted House is on the right before the right hand bend.
