An historical building in its own right, The Steppes is said to date back to the sixteenth Century when Henry VIII was King of England and England was torn by the Restoration. Although we are situated in the center of some highly picturesque Herefordshire village, we have adapted our amenities to enable everyone to appreciate the peaceful location. There are 3 prime adjacent apartments, contained within a brand-new extension and annexe to the cottage, offering the most high standards of comfort. Full accessability is catered to all suites. As mentioned above, The Steppes dates back to 1530, and today is a cheerful home for Lin and Martin. Lin is a keen advocate for self-sufficiency and as such features an ample vegetable plot stocked with supplies for the year, plus chickens, sheep and bees. Whether the bees have been busy this year, there will be honey accessible for sale – just ask Lin for details. Breakfast eggs are supplied favour of Lin’s chickens and all ingredients are sourced from local Hereford suppliers where possible. Every room is equipped with been lavishly provided with the most modern designs and furnished with crisp white bed linen and fluffy white towels, WiFi, Freeview color TVs, tea/coffee making service. Vast windows look out to the terraces and pond, offering excellent vistas at any time of the year. We have one double, one twin and 1 family suite accessible.
