General Information
The Chimneys Hotel built in 1925, previously known as The Trust and was mostly used by miners who worked at Blackhall Colliery. Now completely renowated the inn is very cozy and a sincere welcome awaits all. The Ember Lounge Bar which was named in memory of the local miners who were the hotels loyal guests, it brags an open coal fire and is embellished with taste for recreation time. There is a friendly brasserie and restaurant which is open for breakfast and suppers from 5pm Chimneys is situated situated in Blackhall close to the seafront and just thirty mins from Newcastle, Sunderland and Middlesbrough. It's simple available from the A19 and provides a good base to discover the North East.
