Transportation

From Harrogate train station: (Approx five mins walk)Turn right out of the station down Station Parade to the corner of Cheltenham Parade. Stroll round the left hand corner and turn 1st right onto Commercial Street. This highway leads onto Franklin Road. The Arden House Hotel is several hundred yards on the left. From Wetherby (A1A661): Follow the signs to Harrogate, across the 1st set of traffic lights to the 1st roundabout. Take the 1st exit. After approximately a mile, another roundabout (Prince of Wales Roundabout), third exit towards the city center. Follow the One Way System past Betty's tearooms on the left. Keep in right lane down the hill to the traffic lights at the bottom. Turn right into Kings Road and then move into the left hand lane. After the following set of traffic Lights turn right onto Strawberry Dale Avenue. Turn left onto Franklin Road. Arden House Hotel is several hundred yards on the left. From Leeds (A61): Drive into Harrogate past the Stray to the Prince of Wales roundabout. Direct ahead and carry on down the one-way system. Past Betty's tea suites on the left. Keep in right lane down the hill to the traffic lights at the bottom. Turn right into Kings Road and then move into the left hand lane. After the following set of traffic Lights turn right onto Strawberry Dale Avenue. Turn left onto Franklin Road. Arden House Hotel is several hundred yards on the left. From Knaresborough (A1A59): Keep on the A59 through Starbeck and towards Harrogate. At the 1st roundabout go direct ahead. After approximately a mile you'll come to the Prince of Wales Roundabout, take the third exit towards the city center. This will take you past Betty's tea apartments on the left. Keep in right lane down the hill to the traffic lights at the bottom. Turn right into Kings Road then keep in left hand lane. After traffic Lights turn right onto Strawberry Dale Avenue. Turn left onto Franklin Road. Arden House Hotel is several hundred yards on the left. From Skipton (A59): As you approach Harrogate go direct ahead at the 1st roundabout. Approximately a mile further on turn right onto the A61 at the following roundabout. Keep on the A61 all the way into Harrogate till you reach the Royal Hall traffic lights. Keep in left hand lane. After the following set of traffic Lights turn right onto Strawberry Dale Avenue. Turn left onto Franklin Road.
