Chare Close Bed and Breakfast, primarily built in 1820, is located at the Town Foot region of Haltwhistle. Haltwhistle is the "centre of Britain" and city foot is the premises of the original city. Chare Close features undergone sensitive restorations, creating a "home away from home" for our dear guests. Chare Close is located close to the Haltwhistle burn and gorge providing direct access to the Hadrian's Wall World Heritage spot and behind. Cycle routes for Hadrian's Wall, the Pennine Way, and the recent South Tyne Way also run directly past the facade door. Local boutiques, bus stops and the train station are within an simple stroll as are the local pubs! We are happy to be can propose customers the choice of 3 suites all with en suite amenities and the comforts of home such as TV/DVDs, tea and coffee etc. Customers have the stylish use of a tranquil hall and dining district with an ample foyer for walkers and cyclists to store open-air clothes and boots.
