Following a main redevelopment in 2008, which saw the guesthouse reopen as a modern 4 star hotel with apartments, stylish lounges and a brasserie, Rothay park features again, in the winter of 2010/11, embarked upon further main investment. This features seen the creation of Riverside and Garden Suites, a modern recent two AA Rosette restaurant facing the terraces and a dazzling recent intimate Riverside Spa.
