Beech Hill House Grange-over-Sands

Our bed & breakfast is exactly off the A590 at Witherslack, 8 mins from the M6 J36 in an unspoiled corner of the Lake District National Park. Appreciate the Lake District and visit in the South Lakes - at the foot of the lakes, away from the crowds! Perfect stop-over. three en-suite apartments with king-size beds, 1 with private terrace and desk and chairs. Dogs welcome. Windermere, Kendal, Ulverston, Barrow-in-Furness, Cartmel and Grange-over-Sands a short ride away.

Transportation

Beech Hill House is extremely simple to find as we are just off the A590 and the 1st cottage as you approach the countryside. From the M6 motorway leave at combination 36 and follow the signs for Windermere. After approximately two miles turn left onto the A590 which is signposted Barrow-in-Furness. Follow the dual carriageway and after a whilst it turns into an ordinary highway. Approximately mile after the speed camera on the ordinary highway it turns back into a dual carriageway again. As you approach this dual carriageway go into the right hand lane and turn right (signposted Witherslack Bowland Bridge Halecat). Immediately off the dual carriageway you'll cross a cattle grid and we are the detached cottage on the left. Whether you get to the Derby Arms you've gone too far so turn around and come back the way you came. We are the detached cottage on the right just before the cattle grid. When on the A590 whether you miss the turning when it turns back into the dual carriageway again just keep going to the roundabout. Go round the roundabout and come back along the dual carriageway and our turning is the first on the left after the garage.
