The Edward Hotel is a Grade II listed Victorian terraced hotel situated un the centre in charming historic Gloucester. Part of the guesthouse was constructed in 1796 and the relaxation in 1832, when Gloucester was a thriving inland port. Strenghts of Edward Hotel are tranquil location, car parking, tranquil location, privately-owned ownership, peaceful location and the balance struck between quality and good value for money. Emphasis is upon lodging rather than prime dining, and upon stillness and tranquillity rather than late bars and parties. All bedrooms at The Edward Hotel are adjacent, all have wi fi access, tea/coffee making, digital channels on flat screen TVs. At reception desk there is a computer workstation with printer webcam and skype independent for visitor use. In the hall there is a 42" TV with DVD player, an open hearth with log burning fire, complimented by a leather apartment. The brasserie features an unofficial pleasant atmosphere and is generally open until approx' 11.00pm. Guests able to sit, even breakfast, in the scenic, well established park. Car parking in Gloucester is difficult so our big car garden is a genuine bonus. Customers may use it on morning of arrival and all day on day of departure. There is a locking region and garage for bicycles. A short amble passing some classic architecture leads to Gloucester downtown. From here the Cathedral, Guildhall, GL1, Gloucester Rugby Club, the Docks, Quays and galleries are readily walkable. The Edward Hotel backs onto Gloucester Royal Hospital. To the north approx' 300m is Hillfield terraces another 300m stroll leads to Gloucester University Oxstalls campus. Officially check in at The Edward Hotel is from 14: 30 but morning arrival is possible, just report us, whether the apartment is prepared it's a bonus whether not we will provide you with a check-in time.
