Alltshellach Country House Fort William

General Information

Advantageously located in the Scotlands number 1 skimountain bikingclimbingkayaking in the open-air capital of the uk. Alltshellach grange, is a generous Scottish residence, formerly a bishop's cottage, with lawns and woody grounds that sweep down to the shores of Loch Leven. Located on the edge of North Ballachulish countryside, with a superior mountain backdrop, the nearest city is Fort William, 13 miles north, an enthusiastic resort near Ben Nevis. The grange, designated as non-smoking, features 36 en-suite bedrooms equiped with a hairdryer, clock radio and additionaly tea/coffee making service. Televisions and telephones are not provided in the bedrooms. Spare time facilities comprise an inner heated swimming pool, inner Jacuzzi, 2 lounges and a brasserie. The capacious grounds are perfect for a game of croquet or stroll along the loch. Meals are catered in an unofficial, familiar atmosphere at tables for up to 8 customers. A three-course dinner is catered at seven to seven. 30pm for a charge of 18 GBP for a person. Whether you would like to have dinner at the grange please contact the cottage before 6pm to produce your dinner reservation. An option of full English or nutritious breakfas is offered. To enable you to produce the plurality of your hiking or strolling vacation, a self-select picnic snack able to be provided for small charge of ten GBP for a person. Free parking zone is obtainable. Please inform the grange in good time whether you intend to arrive after 10.30pm. Bedrooms are attainable from two. 30pm on the day of arrival and should be vacated by ten. 00am on the day of departure. The farmstead is a superb base for those on an activity or strolling vacation. Surrounding sights include the Jacobite steam train trip of Harry Potter fame and the ice wall at the Ice Factor, 9 miles away.

Transportation

From A82 (south) continue through Glen Coe and go over the Ballachulish Bridge towards Fort William. Take 2nd highway on the right after the bridge signposted Kiinlochleven. The cottage is approx 400 yards on the right.
