Old School Bed and Breakfast Ely

General Information

The Old School B&B proposes quality lodging in an old countryside school situated in a tranquil countryside only several miles west of Ely. The countryside able to be accessed from either the A10 or A142 and is convenient for Ely, Cambridge, Newmarket, the Fens, Thetford Forest and the Norfolk beach. The Old School is embedded in an acre of terraces and horse paddocks, with splendid vistas across the Fens onto Ely Cathedral. The tree bedrooms are all on first floor level and have newly been elegantly re-decorated. They are available for visitors with impaired mobility. Dwellers are welcome to unbend in the visitor hall and greenhouse facing the park in the afternoon over a cup of tea or savoury coffee and have access to a big variety of books and data of local, geographical and historical in addition to equestrian, canine and general interest. We have five dogs ourselves, so visiting dogs are greatly welcome at The Old School B&B. We are Pets Welcome approved by Visit Britain. They able to visit in the suite with you and come to the visitor hall. We have a capacious park and there are several pretty local strolls. We able to advise you where to take your dog for strolls in wonderful Thetford Forest, on the scenic North Norfolk beaches or in the commodious Cambridgeshire Fens.
