General Information

Every year, Euro Hostels Ltd leases uni suite lodging whilst the students are on their summer months holiday. For 2010 we have assured Kincaids Court again with 253 beds in 43 rooms, in one of the best peaceful location in city! Just mins stroll from Waverley Station and 1 block from the Royal Mile (High Street). Kincaids Court is right on Cowgate and within a short distance of Edinburgh Castle, The Royal Mile, The Palace of Holyroodhouse and Grassmarket. The peaceful location is good for anyone visiting Edinburgh, if in city for the celebration, sightseeing, tourism Scotland or working over the summer months. The lodging consists self-contained, fully-furnished rooms for between three and 12 persons. All bedrooms are fully privately-owned, either twin (2 single beds) or single bedded, sharing ample bathroom amenities (wc, whb and shower) and have the use of a shared loungedining suite, fully-furnished kitchen with sink, electric stove, oven and fridge freezer. It is a beautiful set up if you're in city with a group or hiking on your own. All roomsapartments are non smoking and all bed linen and towels are offered. Kitchens are fully stocked with all utensils to simply move in and beginning living the Edinburgh inner-city room lifestyle.

Transportation

From Waverley Station: Approximately 10 minutes stroll The short but steep way with a lot of stairs (not vivid with luggage)- Take the Market Street exit, cross the st and stroll up Fleshmarket Close, turn left at Cockburn St to the Royal Mile. Cross over the Royal Mile and stroll through Hunter Square down Blair Street towards Cowgate. Turn right at Cowgate and stroll for approximately hundred metres. We are on the corner of Guthrie Street. The longer way but easier with luggage (see map next page)- Exit Waverley Train Station from the Market Street exit. Turn to your left and veer right up Jeffrey Street. Carry on along Jeffrey Street till you get to the High Street (also known as the Royal Mile). Cross over the High Street and direct ahead onto St Mary's Street. Stroll down till you get to the highway known as the Cowgate. Turn right along the Cowgate for approximately 300 meters. Kincaids Court is situated on the left hand side on the corner of Guthrie St.
