Planned by William Playfair, the Clan Campbell resides a tranquil niche despite it is vicinity to the downtown. A Georgian townhouse with a confidential park, it proposes a genuine respite after a hard day's sight-seeing or shopping - have a tranquil drink in the dwellers brasserie or unwind with a DVD in your apartment. Self-sufficient wi-fi connection is obtainable in all our apartments and there is free i-access in the brasserie for visitors without their own computer. Eating and drinking out around the Clan Campbell is a delight, with a range of bars, restaurants and delicatessens to suit all tastes and budgets in the surrounding area - Valvona and Crolla is directly round the corner. That's whether you are tranquil hungry after our unbelievable full Scottish breakfast (the haggis is a must! ) On st parking zone is available outside the inn. Because of our vicinity to the downtown, this is operated on a pay and display basis between 8. 30am and five. 30pm Monday to Friday. Car parking after five. 30pm till 8. 30am and on Saturdays and Sundays is self-sufficient. Please avoid car park in the permit holder only bays. Transportation

By AIR: The airport (located to west of city) is approximately a 25 minute cab trip and will cost about £20. Alternatively the airport bus, which costs £3. 50 (every 15 minutes) will take you to the downtown, Waverley, from where a local bus or cab able to be caught. By TRAIN: Waverley Train Station is closer to the Clan Campbell Hotel out of the 2 train stations in Edinburgh, Haymarket being a small further away. From Waverley there is a cab rank within the railway station or it's a short stroll whether you do not have plenty of luggage. By BUS: The major bus station is on St Andrew's Square and is a short amble from the guesthouse or a cab is usually accessible outside the bus station. Alternatively, catch a Number 1, four, 15 or 34 to London Road (Lothian Regional Transport Bus). We are on the second left just off Hillside Crescent. From Princes Street: Travel east to the far end of Princes Street, turn down Leith Street (on the left beside the St James Shopping Centre). Travel down to roundabout. Take left hand highway down to second roundabout. Turn right onto London Road. Take second left onto Hillside Crescent and then left again onto Brunswick Street. We are on the right hand side in the middle.
