Blinkbonny House is an ideal, conventional detached villa built in the 1930’s on what was formerly an apple orchard, part of the ancient Blinkbonnie Estate, (later changed to Blinkbonny) located on the west side of Edinburgh in one of the best regions of the town. Blinkbonny House sits on an elevated situation facing a tree-lined garden to the back of the premises. The suites to the back of the cottage have a striking outlook over the nearby area. Blinkbonny House is in an outstanding peaceful location for free access into the downtown. It is just a five minute bus ride to Princes Street or an amiable 20 minute stroll past some of Edinburgh’s splendid Victorian dwellings and tree lined streets. Within a short distance the butiques and terraces of Princes Street, Edinburgh Castle, the National Gallery of Modern Art, Royal Botanical Gardens, Murrayfield Rugby Stadium and Stockbridge, a conservation region well-known due to its old butiques and pleasant restaurants. Also just several minutes stroll to the Craigleith Shopping Centre where you can find a comprehensive supermarket with restaurant, Chemist’s and a lot of more boutiques. We are a little family run B&B and we goal to serve for all your requirements. We will afford you with a facade door key so that you are able to come and go as you please.
