Transportation

From the Airport There are several alternatives to arrive in Edinburgh from the Airport either by cab, by Airport Link double decked bus to the downtown or by Airport Shuttle bus which will stop at the guesthouse. Whether driving follow the A8 and signs to the downtown. Do not turn off till you get to the west end of Princes Street with the Shops on your left and the palace on your right. In this place you should produce a right turn into Lothian Road. Once on Lothian Road produce the first left turn into King Stable Road. Follow this highway direct along and you'll arrive in the Grassmarket where the Apex International will be on the right hand side of the highway. From Waverley Station Waverley station sits below Princes Street on the opposite side of the palace from the Grassmarket. It's a 10 minutes stroll to the Hotel, however with the climb over a hill we would suggest catching a cab from any of the cab ranks within or around the station.
